Our Exotic Pets Sitting Services

We often get emails or phone calls from potential clients asking if we will look after exotic pets.  Well, we’re not called ALL Critters for nothing!  In fact, we love exotic pets and wish we had the opportunity to look after more of them!

To date, we’ve looked after the following:

• Small, furry pets such as rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, etc.
• Fish (both freshwater & marine), also pondfish
• Birds (parrots, as well as chickens and ducks)
• Reptiles and amphibians
• Arachnids (mostly tarantulas)

What to Expect During Our Exotic Pets Sitting Visits

Exotic pet sitting visits tend to be a little different than other visits.  Obviously, we’ll give them fresh food and water, but each situation with these pets is often unique and we’ll tailor each visit to your needs to keep to their regular routine.  We’ll thoroughly go over their care at your meet & greet. 

In addition, we’ll even do the following simple house sitting tasks while you’re away:

• Bring in the newspaper, mail &/or packages
• Take out the trash &/or take the cans out to the street (or back)
• Water any indoor or outdoor plants (within reason!)
• Adjust the lights &/or blinds (upon request)
• Do a light security check and walkthrough at each visit to ensure your home is secure
• Any other small task that can easily be handled while we’re there, just let us know.  We’re happy to accommodate. 

At the end of each visit, you’ll receive an emailed “report” that lets you know how everyone is doing, what they’ve been up to and we’ll even include pictures.

Pricing

20-30 minute visit starts at $32.  This price is based on (up to) 2 pets, but pricing with these pets is a little unique to each situation.  We can give you an exact amount once we know what you have.  The scheduling with these visits is usually a little flexible with the timing each day.  If you need a specific time or more than one visit a day, our all-inclusive pet sitting visit might be a better fit.  If you’re not sure, give us a call and we can work out a plan that works for you and your pets.

Generally, we service the following neighborhoods for most visits: North Raleigh, West Raleigh, NW Raleigh, Downtown Raleigh, Cameron Village, Oakwood, Mordecai, the Warehouse District, Boylan Heights, Hayes Barton, Five Points, Six Forks & North Hills, and parts of Cary.
